Morning Routines

Abraham Hicks talks about the importance of segment intending. Every time you move into a new “segment” or activity in your day, set an intention thinking about how you want the situation or day to unfold.

Plan a little extra time in the morning and create a morning ritual.

  • Meditation
  • Journaling
  • Lifting the Chi

Choose one or do all three of them.

Your are the author and director of your life.  It is your job to set the tone of the day.

Mind. Body. Home

Plan a little extra time in the morning and create a morning ritual.

Have you ever wanted your mornings to flow with ease? First, you need to set that intention as soon as you rise. “May this day be filled with joy and flow with ease.”

Journaling in the morning is a fantastic exercise and sets the tone for your day.  A few of my favorite mantras are:

  • My day flows with grace and ease.
  • My body and mind are healthy and strong.
  • I feel amazing.
  • I appreciate the abundance in my life.
  • I appreciate all the helpful people in my life.
  • I have enough time to complete everything I need to complete.

After journaling, set the tone of your home, now it is time to ramp up the chi!  It is very rare that I skip this step.

  • Open your space to welcome the morning sun, and open a window, if you can, let in the sounds of nature and fresh air.
  • Set your intention to clear the space of heavy nonbeneficial energy and fill your space with light and love.
  • Light a stick of Palo Santo or some dried herbs then walk your space.  If you have more than one level of your home, just do the main floor or main living area.  If you have a bell ring it while you walk, the bell is such a wonderful tool!
  • Carefully extinguish the Palo Santo or dried herbs.

Meditation can seem overwhelming, start with a small goal of quieting your mind and letting your soul soar.  Ten to fifteen minutes a day will improve your well-being.

  • Sit quietly, set your intention for the day again, holding gratitude and thanks.
  • Quietly relax, letting your mind find peace for 10-15 minutes or more!

When you are done meditating be sure to ground yourself by visualizing your feet firmly attached to the ground.

Start your day in a positive state, knowing your day will flow with ease and grace.
